2.
It just doesn’t seem natural, everything we know
about this subject just informs us that after a certain
age a person would reach a certain height that can never
be changed
until the person gets too old then he or
she begins
shortening.
So how can
you explain your technique or is it limited to a certain
age group, I mean before the height is well established?
This technique has
no age limit, it can help the person grow taller or remodel
his or her body from the age of 12 to 45 if not older.
The only limit is when there is a bone illness or a bone
problem, for example osteoporosis.
And in reference to your remark, our body is ever changing,
now as we speak my bones as well as yours are changing,
new cells are replacing old ones.
Lets us talk a little bit scientifically, there are two
important types of cells in our bones: Osteoblastes and
osteoclastes; osteoclastes destroy old bone matrix and
reshape the bone, at the same time osteoblastes construct
new matrix according to the necessity of bone matrix in
the selected bone region.
For example, when a bone fracture occurs, the osteoclastes
destroy the fractured bits while the osteoblastes work
harder to restore the matrix to its original anatomical
form.
So, to be short, our technique helps control the equilibrium
and the direction of work of those cells in order to create
bones longitudinally and gain length.
It is almost comparable to orthodontic techniques, so
it might have been impossible to change the shape of our
teeth 20 years ago, but now almost everybody knows and
believes in these techniques, and this technique is the
same but instead of working with jaws, we work with longer
bones, and instead of gaining millimeters, we can gain
centimeters.
3. This is a new technique as you are saying is it entirely
new or is it the evolution of other techniques, and by
the way are there other techniques to gain height?
This is an entirely new technique. But there
are numerous other techniques that differ completely with
always some common characteristics:
The most known and reliable but also slightly dangerous
technique would be surgery; the technique is called the
Ilizarov method: it consists of sawing the perfectly normal
yet short bone in 2 at very distinguished regions, then
screws would be inserted above and below the fissure,
then a certain machine would be attached to these screws
in a way to control their motion of direction apart (Picture
1). Then after going out of surgery the patient would
turn every single day the handle on the machine that breaks
apart the bone for 1 mm, thus during the period of wearing
the machine the bone grows by 1 mm per day.
The second technique consists of hormone therapy where
numerous types of hormones help the body increase its
height and it is called the growth hormones, but they
are usually limited to the period of height gaining of
the teenager this means between the ages of 12 and 16.
The third technique would be the protein intake where
some protein drugs have an effect on growth control.
The fourth technique is done by chiropractors or osteopaths
or even physical therapists and it consists on the realignment
of the curvature of the back bones. For example: imagine
the shape of the back chain, you have 4 curves; the neck,
the upper back, the lumbar region and the sacral region.
So by straightening those curves the back could gain a
few centimeters according to the person related.
There are also numerous unworthy techniques but usually
are made by non professionals and charlatans.
4. What is your technique and how it works?
This remodeling technique is called Non-Invasive
Bone Distraction divided in two parts:
a. the machine
It is custom made; this means that every subject has his
own machine, which he or she takes home with them. It
is a complicated and secret mechanic system. It looks
like a cervical collar, you know the sponge collar; it
is also worn the same easy way. Every segment of the legs
has its own machine, so for lengthening the legs a person
would need 4 parts each one for a different segment 2
for the thighs and 2 for the legs. These machines permit
full range of motion of the lower limbs joints, so it
is possible to wear them under the clothes at home but
they a little bit unestethic to go out wearing them.
So by strapping this machine for at least 6 hours a day
preferably 8 hours, and most specially during sleep. They
help the bone grow taller. There is no pain and no irritating
discomfort especially when the subject is used to the
machine.
But the machine in itself can do nothing without the physical
therapy.
b.
Physical therapy
In the beginning, the treatment consists of 3 sessions
per week where different P.T. techniques are done to help
the bone react to the machine. Then this number of sessions
will be reduced, up to the time where the wanted height
is achieved then the machine must still be worn but the
P.T. techniques are stopped permitting the bone to stop
remodeling.
We should mention that the subject must follow a rigid
muscle stretching and strengthening in parallel usually
for 1 hour a day (1/2 in the morning and ½ in the
evening).
Naturally there are some advises that will be given before
and during the treatment about nutrition, health and other
subjects.
5. What is the period of the treatment?
It depends, on how much the subjects wants to
gain.
6. So, how much the subject could possibly gain?
Let us not be irrational but I can tell u that
they can reach increases of 10-15 cm easily, and I don’t
think anybody might ask for more.
But we should note that not everybody gains height the
same way or the same speed there are numerous variables!
7.
What are those variables?
The most important age, so the younger the subject
the faster and more efficiently his or her body responds
to the technique. Then the older they get the more difficult
it becomes with never becoming zero.
Secondly, the sex, so girls are more easily reshaped than
boys.
Third, the weight, this means that the heavier the subject
is, the more difficult for the treatment is and vice versa.
Fourth, the bone type, some people have really strong
bones so it could be a little harder to reshape them.
But, I should note that everybody will get results it
is just that some subjects could respond more quickly
and efficiently.
8. So, in average according to your experience, how much
can you give to a treated subject?
I can say that it ranges between 1 and 2 cm per
month, naturally according to the variables mentioned
above and the devotion of the subject himself.
9. What do you mean by devo tion?
This technique is not magic, so I won’t be the only
one working to increase the height of the subject, he
himself must work with me, so if he or she doesn’t
wear the machine every day for 8 hours and he or she doesn’t
go by the advises and the exercises I give, so they will
never gain height as they should.
For example, whoever comes to me and says that he or she
wants to start this technique, I will ask them the first
and most important question, are you ready to execute
everything I say, whatever my orders where? And then I
need an affirmative answer before beginning. Because I
will not permit that after a couple of weeks, the subject
becomes bored and wants to stop the technique, if the
subject wants to start working, he or she should continue
to their targeted height.
10. According to your average, so if I wanted to gain
5 cm I need only 3 or 4 months of work?
No, you will gain those 5 cm in a little more
than 5 months because in the first period the remodeling
is slower than afterwards; but after you reach those 5
cm you cannot stop immediately, or you will loose some
of the gained height, because the bone is still fit to
change thus it could return shorter height.
So, what we do is continue the treatment with machine
without as much physical therapy technique as the first
few months for almost 3 months, during this period the
bone gains length but also gains strength to resist to
day to day activities and to reshortening, then we stop
all techniques and the subject looses those added centimeters
and returns to the targeted 5 cm lengthening.
11. You just said that the bone regains strength; during
the treatment is it weaker?
No, not weaker but softer, so in real life the
bone scientifically is more resistant to accidental fracture
because is can absorb more chocking by being softer, it
is like having the bones of a younger person if the subject
is a teenager and of a teenager if the subject is older
.
12. Now, the most important question of all, how much
does it cost?
Not as much as you might think, for example if
I wanted to compare this technique with the most reliable
other limb lengthening technique which is surgery. The
price of my technique equals almost 20 % of the cost of
surgery, with the same results. I really can’t give
specific numbers because every subject will cost differently,
but I can tell you that the price is low enough to be
affordable to everyone. And since we are starting the
technique in Lebanon I will be more than soft with the
price to permit everybody who wants it to get it. But
also, I should mention that there is the machine and the
technique so our price will congregate both of them because
I will not make the subject pay for the machine cash but
as a rental fee.
13. Every medicine or medical technique presents some
side effects or problems, so this technique what are its
problems and advantages comparing to other existing techniques?
With all modesty, this technique is overall the
best limb lengthening technique until today!
The best way to know this is by comparing the bads and
goods of all techniques:
The average of monthly lengthening is 1.5 cm compared
to the Ilizarov method that gives 2.5 cm per month, but
the Ilizarov method cannot give more than 6 cm compared
to the unlimited lengthening of our method. Plus, our
technique almost doesn’t cause pain, compared to
the surgery pain, the normal danger of anesthesia, and
surgery dangers, added to the possibility of infections,
inflammations, bone and muscle necrosis, and nerve damage
all possible with the Ilizarov method and that none of
those exist in my technique.
The period of treatment is also important for example
with the Ilizarov method the subject needs 3 months of
bed time with the Ilizarov Machine, then 2 months with
cast, then about 4 months of physical therapy for the
subject to return more or less normal, added to all the
problems mentioned earlier. So in average a person will
be at bed or abnormal for at least 9 months if not a year.
But with my technique, the subject will have no restrictions,
no limitations, no pain, and no danger and will continue
living his or her social, professional and personal life
completely normally, and this is very important.
Plus as I said earlier, money wise the cost of my technique
is almost equal 20% of the cost of surgery with all the
benefits mentioned earlier.
Now other techniques like hormones, I wouldn’t advise
them because taking hormones can be very dangerous where
not only the height grows but all the body and usually
the shin the becomes too big for the face.
Other techniques aren’t as sure as these techniques.
